Laurel Retreat!!!!!!

This weekend the Laurels in my ward and our leaders got to stay up in Salt Lake in a nice condo just for fun! It was a blast the whole time! We left right after school and spend until about 6 talking and laughing and having a good time. We ordered pizza and ate until we couldn't move any longer. It was Kiley Murray's birthday so we sang happy birthday to her! When we finally decided to move, we all got in our swimming suits and we to the hot tub on the roof. The view was amazing form 28 floors up! You could see all of downtown Salt Lake, including the beautiful temple. Beyond the closer lights you could pretty much see on forever with houses lit up in the surrounding cities. It was beautiful, but kind of cold, so we jumped in the small hot tub as fast as we could. All 12 of us, (including my mom) squished in and we all told our first kiss stories. However, i didn't have one, so i told the closest thing to it! Sitting out on the roof in the hot water with the beautiful view was probably my favorite part of the whole thing. We all got out and went to have cake and ice cream! :) YUM!! Then we changed, got all snuggly warm, and talked some more until we fell asleep. It was so much fun and i am so grateful for the girls in my ward!

My Birthday!

Last week was my 17th birthday and it was a lot of fun! It's weird that i am almost an adult! I had a wonderful birthday with my family and then got to go to mutual which was also awesome.

Prom!

So, i got asked to Prom a couple nights ago, and it was probably one of the wierdest, strangest, funniest way i have been asked before. First, i got a knock at the door around 9:30 and i was bit suspicious, but at the same time i had no clue! I opened my door and there stood two boys in big blow up cowboy suits with big hats! one had a guitar (pretty sure it was Nate) and then the other one was singing (probably Bryson) and they same a very interesting, funny song to ask me to prom. And he sang in a very strange, screaming/goofy voice.  I wish i had the lyrics but they won't admit it was them so i don't have them. And i should have taken some pictures was i was a little bit of shock to do anything. Then before they left, they handed me a capri sun, then walked off still singing, all the way down the street. I was laughing really hard, then checked the bottom of the capri sun and it said, "Jordan Haines!" I am so excited! I am going to prom with Jordan Haines!!!!!! YAY! i am so excited! :) It's awesome!

HOSA

So i had the most wonderful weekend of my life! Well, Olivia and I pretty much went to the nerd conference. (she doesn't like when i call it that) but it truly was! HOSA (health occupations, Students of America) Quite the experience. So, we had been working on our project for over 3 months and spend many many hours putting together our portfolio. Finally, we got to present it at this conference and felt we did really well. Sure enough, in the awards assembly, they got to third place and our name didn't show up. Then they got to second, and our name wasn't up there either! That's when we knew! we took first place! and it was the most exciting moment of my life. I truly felt like a nerd! going up to receive my medal. But all that hard work was so worth it. So, liv and i are going to Anaheim, California for nationals in the summer. And i feel like that was a weekend well spent!

Olivia and i also got to spend more than 72 hours together which was a blast. She is a wonderful friend to me, and i trust her so much. We talked about everything and even had some debates together about current issues! It was so fun and i really look up to olivia for her "smart-ness" and success in everything she does!! :)

So i spent my Saturday night with the coolest young men in the whole world! And they are also my homies! (That's best friends in a guy way) Yup, that's about it. Erik +Chris+ Chelsea= WEIRDOs!

Coco my Oco!

I love Chloe! She is so crazy! We are having a fun time being hyper and fun. Chloe just turned 6 years old and loves to play with her new toys. And she says, "I love to play with my sister cheltsey bo beltsy!" I love Coco my oko! I love her SOOOOO much, she told me to love her more than anybody else! All the way to the stars and back and again and again!
