Life is like a car

    Driving along the highway, the wind blowing through your hair, feeling like life is going your way, it's all good. The car runs without contention or disturbance. The music seeping into your soul, and you've got nothing to worry about, life is great. Then you suddenly hit the speed bump at a million miles an hour.. you know what you need to do, you need to STOP THE CAR! You cannot force the car to keep going after that damage. So you do it, you STOP because you know it's best for the car. Slowly you drive on, but it gets harder to chug along. Then you hit the hill, the steep hill and the car slows. It stutters and starts slipping, no, don't fall, don't give up, move on..
  Life is great. I am so grateful for everything! I think that life is like a car ride, and you can't get out of it, you just have to keep moving along, even when times are hard. You are the only one in control of your car! No one can determine your speed or distance but you!! Once you get over that hill then it's all quite enjoyable. let us look out the window and see the beauty around us. take the drive slow if you need and take the time to look around at the beauty the Lord has created for us.
